Missing in action??? Nope, just back at work!
I'll admit that going back to work has really made me take a step back and look at how to regain some balance. I had it so easy on maternity leave with tons of time at home to exercise, blog, etc....not anymore!
In the meantime since the last post, I did a second round of 21 Day Fix. This second round I was able to push harder in the workouts, but had trouble sticking to the meal plan in my new routine. Even with some meal plan set backs, for round two of the 21 Day Fix I still lost another 5.25 inches and 3 pounds!!
All totaled on this postpartum journey, I've lost 36 pounds! That leaves me with only five pounds to go to get back to my prepregnancy weight. The scale doesn't mean everything though! In my next challenge, I plan to take on PiYo to really shape and redefine my body.
The whole family also ran a 5K two weeks before Thanksgiving. I was sloooowwww, but I was out there and I finished with minimal walking! I'm feeling the itch to get back into running again, so I'll be attempting to incorporate as much running into my PiYo routine as possible.
I gave PiYo a trial run yesterday with the first workout, the fundamentals. This workout was just about teaching the moves and what to expect....well, I expect that I'll be hurting!! I am in for a real challenge with this one. I can't wait!
